Position Summary
Develop daily and weekly maintenance plans and schedules. Monitor and control maintenance progress, measuring and reporting performance. Contribute to the planning team’s efforts in achieving department goals and KPIs.
Position Responsibilities
-Implementing company planning and scheduling procedures.
-Developing work plans aligned with company safety procedures.
-Ensuring optimal resource utilization in plans and schedules.
-Monitoring progress to maintain schedule compliance.
-Leading prioritization in daily planning meetings.
-Prioritizing safety critical and environmentally critical tasks.
-Implementing agile practices for flexibility in scheduling.
-Managing and updating shutdown work orders list.
-Monitoring and reporting work order backlog.
-Controlling backlog volume within normal practice.
-Maintaining accuracy of CMMS work order information.
-Ensuring positive schedule and cost performance measures.
-Proactively integrating maintenance plans with other teams.
-Supporting asset management engineer in preventive maintenance implementation.
-Managing contractor overtime effectively.
Position Qualifications
-4-6 years of experience in a similar role within the oil & gas / petrochemicals industry.
-B.Sc. in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
-Strong command of English language skills.
-Proficiency in MS Project and Maximo.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-Experience in project management and cost estimation techniques.
-Preferred certifications: PMP / CMRP.
-Familiarity with Primavera is an asset.
