Position Summary
The Sr. IT Business Analyst collaborates proactively with stakeholders, leveraging a deep understanding of their objectives and processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements through technology solutions. Serving as a coordinator between stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, the analyst ensures the effective definition and delivery of technology solutions. Key responsibilities include relationship management, communication, business process analysis, data analysis, requirements definition, solution configuration, project coordination, documentation, and training.
Position Responsibilities
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships and participate in business unit meetings to understand processes and priorities.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process and solution improvement by assessing business requirements and industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement business processes, projects, and solutions.
• Develop user documentation, provide training, and offer analytics and decision-making support.
• Incorporate usability and data management considerations throughout the system lifecycle.
• Contribute to business capability-driven roadmaps and maintain vendor connections for research.
• Advise on policies, ensure system documentation compliance, and guide IT budgets and resource requirements.
Position Qualifications
Educational Qualifications/Specialization:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Trainings & Certifications:
• Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Business Data Analytics (CBDA)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certifications
• COBIT
Years of Previous Experience/Background of Functional Expertise:
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas or Manufacturing industries.
