Position Summary

Develop and coordinate maintenance plans and schedules, as well as plant modification projects, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role focuses on optimizing equipment availability through effective planning, cross-functional collaboration, and proper utilization of maintenance systems, while upholding Responsible Care standards.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain maintenance plans, schedules, and job packages to support equipment reliability
  • Coordinate daily with Maintenance and Operations teams to review priorities and plan work orders
  • Monitor maintenance execution, track KPIs, and ensure schedule compliance
  • Plan and support plant modification projects, including scope development, scheduling, and resource planning
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or deviations, and support corrective actions
  • Utilize CMMS (e.g., MAXIMO) to manage asset data, maintenance programs, and reporting
  • Generate reports and insights to support performance evaluation and continuous improvement
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective execution of activities
  • Support the implementation of maintenance planning best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • 4–6 years of experience in maintenance planning using CMMS systems
  • 2–4 years of experience in project planning within industrial environments (oil & gas or petrochemical preferred)
  • Experience with CMMS platforms (e.g., IBM Maximo) and planning tools such as Primavera or MS Project
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage
  • Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and ability to work across multiple teams
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and spare parts management
