Position Summary
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory availability, accuracy, and cost efficiency across the supply chain. The role analyzes demand and stock performance, maintains data integrity, and develops data-driven recommendations to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Working closely with Procurement, Warehousing, and Manufacturing, the Inventory Analyst supports forecasting accuracy, supply reliability, and operational excellence.
Position Responsibilities

Analyze inventory movement and consumption trends to maintain optimal stock levels using replenishment and reorder reports.

Monitor stock performance and recommend adjustments to reorder points, safety stock, and lead times.

Conduct regular ABC classifications and assess item criticality to support effective inventory planning and control.

Partner with Procurement and End Users to improve supply reliability and reduce excess inventory.

Track vendor offers and coordinate evaluation of purchase requisitions to ensure accurate replenishment decisions.

Expedite urgent requisitions and follow up on delayed orders to prevent operational disruptions.

Identify abnormal consumption patterns and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate weekly cycle counts and support annual physical inventory activities to ensure inventory accuracy.

Maintain data integrity within CMMS/ERP systems, including master data updates and reconciliations.

Develop strategies for managing dead, excess, and obsolete inventory.

Prepare accurate inventory reports and dashboards to support decision-making and audit requirements.
Position Qualifications
Educational and Training
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or a related discipline.

Recognized training or certification in inventory control, inventory optimization, or supply chain management is preferred
Previous Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or distribution within a multinational manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, stock replenishment, demand forecasting, and ABC classification.

Experience in cycle counting and full physical inventory processes.

Proven ability to analyze inventory data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, analysis, reporting).

Experience building dashboards and conducting scenario analysis.

Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, or Petrochemical industries is highly preferred.
