The marketing and logistics offices in Waterloo, Belgium, and Tees, United Kingdom, oversee the management and administration of all Methanex's sales and logistics operations in Europe. They are also responsible for customer service, Responsible Care^®, ISO, finance and accounting, and human resources management.

Terminal Operations - Mediterranean and Northern Europe

Although Methanex does not have production facilities in Europe, we use storage terminals that serve as 'virtual plants' for the region. In total we have approximately 225,000 tonnes of methanol storage located in Rotterdam, the UK, France, and Italy.

We use various size vessels to economically ship methanol from our production hubs in Chile and Trinidad to our storage locations. From there, we distribute the product by ship, barge, rail, truck, and pipeline to our customers. We also ship methanol directly from our production plants to our customers.
