DALLAS
The North American Marketing & Logistics group in Dallas
focuses its social investment efforts on employee participation
in community and charity activities. Donations to any
organization are accompanied by a donation of personal
volunteer time by at least one employee for each of
the activities that we support.
During the past year, we have supported donations
and projects for Hearts & Hammers, Cherished Creations,
the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Special Olympics,
the Muscular Dystrophy Association and several other
organizations. Each of these donations was supported
by participation from our team. |

VANCOUVER
The corporate head office
employees in Vancouver continually show their community
spirit by participating in a number of fundraising and
volunteer endeavours.
Over the past
decade, the company's annual United Way campaign, in
which Methanex matches employee contributions, has resulted
in a total donation of more than CAD$2 million.
This year,
as a special event, a team of employees joined the Easter
Seals 24 Hour Relay. The team put their legs in motion
to raise money for children with disabilities to go
to camp.
Among the many
organizations that we support: the Greater Vancouver
Food Bank, the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau (toy
train drive) and the Salvation Army Harbour Lights'
food line. These organizations offer employees the opportunity
to contribute by volunteering or donating goods or funds
to help others less fortunate in their community.
